In her solo show Since Fish And Painting Are Maid, Marie-Fleur Lefebvre presents an in-situ work in Komplot's new venue. Lefebvre's work imagines paintings as 'deposits' evoking the notion of money placed in a bank or rubbish placed in the trash. As a painter, Lefebvre knows brilliantly how to adopt the role of the female author. Her work plays subtly around eroticism and romanticism. In Lefevbre's holistic settings, the viewer is invited not only to behold the work but to enter it.

Met haar solotentoonstelling Since Fish And Painting Are Maid, presenteert Marie-Fleur Lefebvre een in-situ werk in Komplot's nieuwe ruimte. Lefebvre's werk verbeeldt schilderijen als 'deposits', wat de notie van geld beleggen op een bank, of vuilnis dumpen op een stort, oproept. Als schilder weet Lefebvre zich de rol van de vrouwelijke auteur uitmuntend toe te eigenen. Haar werk speelt op een subtiele manier met erotiek en romantiek. In de holistische settings van Lefebvre wordt de bezoeker niet enkel uitgenodigd om het werk te aanschouwen, maar om het binnen te dringen.

Marie-Fleur Lefebvre présente sa nouvelle exposition personnelle Since Fish And Painting Are Maid, un travail conçu in-situ pour le nouvel espace de Komplot. Le travail de Lefebvre imagine la peinture comme 'dépôt', évoquant la notion d'argent placé à la banque ou de déchets jetés à la poubelle. En tant qu'artiste peintre, Marie-Fleur sait brillamment endosser le rôle d'auteur au féminin. Son travail oscille subtilement entre érotisme et romantisme. Dans une approche holistique, le spectateur sera non seulement invité à contempler l’œuvre mais à y entrer de plain-pied.
