At the occasion of its residency in Nadine, Komplot started The Public School in Brussels, a project that originated in Los Angeles at Telic Arts Exchange.

Komplot is a curatorial collective (of variable composition and condition since 2002) concerned with nomadic creative practices and trends of specialisation. Projects such as 'Midi Zuid' (on gentrification and speculation), 'Vollevox' (on the voice in contemporary art) or 'Architecture of Survival' (on ephemeral architecture) explored new terrain in relation to objects, spaces, artists and the public. Komplot conducted extensive research into post '68 collaborative art practices in Belgium; organising seminars and making two documentary films. Komplot now hosts The Public School Brussels, a platform open to creative and participative contributions in all fields of knowledge and experience. Newly installed in their venue next the Wiels, Komplot produces exhibitions, films, books and an annual magazine titled Year.

Komplot est un collectif de curateurs à composition variable depuis 2002, qui developpe des pratiques nomades et s’inscrit dans la tendance des spécialisations. Des projets comme “Midi Zuid” (sur la gentrifcation et la speculation), Vollevox (à propos de la voix dans l’art contemporain) ou “Architecture de survie” (sur l’architecture ephemere) explorent de nouveaux terrains de relations avec les objets, les espaces, les artistes et les publics. Komplot a mené des recherches dans le domaine des arts collaboratifs post-68’ en Belgique. Sur ce sujet, il a organisé des séminaires et réalisé les deux flms documentaires 'Sad in Country' avec Kosten Koper. Komplot accueille également le projet de “L’école publique” à Bruxelles. Il s’agit d’une plateforme ouverte à la créativité et aux contributions participatives dans tous les domaines de connaissances et d’expériences. Nouvellement installé dans un batiment proche du Wiels, Komplot produit des expositions, des flms, des livres et le magazine annuel “Year” avec David Evrard, Pierre Huyghebaerts et Uberknackig.

Komplot is een curator collectief in wisselende samenstelling en conditie sinds 2002, betrokken met nomadische creatieve praktijken en trends van specialisatie. Projecten zoals 'Midi Zuid' (over gentrifcatie en speculatie), 'Vollevox' (over de stem in de hedendaagse kunst) of 'Architecture of Survival' (over kortstondige architectuur) die nieuw terrein onderzocht in relatie tot objecten, ruimtes, kunstenaars en het publiek. Komplot verrichtte uitgebreid onderzoek naar post-'68 kunstpraktijken in samenwerkingsverband in België, organiseerde seminarie en maakte twee documentaires. Komplot heef nu Te Public School Brussel te gast, een platform open voor creatieve en participatieve bijdragen op alle terreinen van kennis en ervaring. Nieuw geïnstalleerd in hun locatie naast Wiels, produceert Komplot tentoonstellingen, flms, boeken en een nieuw jaarlijks tijdschrif getiteld YEAR.
